Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehab (Phase III) Maintenance Program

SFBH offers a non-monitored Cardiopulmonary program designed to help you maintain a healthier lifestyle, focusing on retaining strength and overall quality of life after completing the monitored program. Most people who continue with cardiac rehab share they feel better than they did before they had heart surgery or a heart condition.

This supervised exercise program can help you:

  • Decrease the risk of coronary artery disease and other heart conditions
  • Encourage heart-healthy behaviors such as eating healthy and exercising regularly
  • Improve strength and reduce risk for falls
  • Manage stress and anxiety
  • Manage weight
  • Quit bad habits, such as smoking

One of the most valuable benefits of cardiac rehabilitation is an improved quality of life, as you exercise in a safe environment.

To enroll in the maintenance program a prescription from your doctor is required. The program is self-pay and is not billable through your insurance.
